Return and Refund Policy

Overview

We stand behind the quality of our automotive parts. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help. This policy outlines how returns and refunds work.

Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of purchase to initiate a return. Requests made after 30 days will not be accepted.

What Can Be Returned

We accept returns on all automotive parts in original condition, including:

  • Headlights
  • Taillights
  • Carbon fiber diffusers and spoilers
  • DRL (Daytime Running Light) kits
  • Other automotive components

Items must be:

  • Unused and uninstalled
  • In original packaging or well-protected condition
  • Free of damage caused by mishandling

What Cannot Be Returned

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned:

  • Items that have been installed or used on a vehicle
  • Clearance or heavily discounted items marked "Final Sale"
  • Items damaged due to improper handling, installation, or misuse
  • Items without original packaging (unless damaged upon arrival)

Return Process

We Accept Returns For:

  • Items that arrived defective or damaged
  • Items that don't match the description or photos on our site
  • Manufacturing defects discovered within 30 days

We Don't Accept Returns For:

  • Items you've changed your mind about (after 14 days)
  • Items you've installed or modified
  • Items damaged due to misuse or improper handling

Step 1: Request a Return Contact us at hello@neroaero.com within 30 days with:

  • Your order number
  • Reason for return (defect, damage, incorrect item, etc.)
  • Photos showing the issue (if applicable)

Step 2: Get Return Approval We'll respond within 2 business days. If approved:

  • For defective/damaged items: We'll provide return shipping instructions
  • For change-of-mind returns (14+ days): We'll provide our supplier's return address

Step 3: Ship Your Return

  • Pack items securely and use tracked shipping
  • Defective/damaged items: We'll provide a prepaid return label
  • Other approved returns: You cover return shipping
  • Include your order number in the package

Step 4: Refund Processing Once we receive your return:

  • We verify the issue (typically 3-5 business days)
  • Your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method

Refund Amount

For defective/damaged items (approved):

  • Full refund of product price + taxes + original shipping
  • We cover return shipping via prepaid label

For other approved returns:

  • Full refund of product price + taxes
  • Original shipping is non-refundable (you pay return shipping)

Example: You paid $120 (including $20 shipping) for a headlight that arrived damaged.

  • Refund: $120 (full amount, including shipping)
  • Return label: We provide it at no cost

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item:

  1. Contact us immediately with photos of the damage
  2. We'll verify the issue and send a prepaid return label
  3. We'll issue a full refund (including original shipping) or send a replacement at no cost

Your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days of us receiving the return.

Return Status

You can track your return using your tracking number. Processing times:

  • Receipt: 2-3 business days after delivery
  • Inspection: 1-2 business days
  • Refund processing: 5-7 business days

Please allow 7-10 business days from initial return shipping for the refund to appear in your account (bank processing times vary).

Refund Not Received?

If you don't see your refund after 10 business days:

  1. Check with your bank (refunds sometimes take longer to post)
  2. Contact us with your order number and tracking information
  3. We'll investigate and help resolve the issue

Exchange Policy

Prefer a different part instead of a refund? No problem. We'll send a replacement at no additional cost if it's the same price or less. If it's more expensive, just pay the difference.

International Returns

We ship to UK, US, EU, and Australia. Return shipping policies are the same regardless of your location:

  • Defective/damaged items: We provide a return label with prepaid shipping
  • Other approved returns: You cover return shipping costs

Note: Return timelines may be longer for international customers (4-6 weeks vs. 2-3 weeks for US orders).
